Hi, we're Katya and Meryl
Katya
Growing up, I fell in love with painting and spent all of my time at museums, I knew then that I wanted to connect my life to art. I followed my passion and it led me to a contemporary art program and I had the honor of participating in a few gallery exhibits. Vivee Home is the next iteration of art for me, home decor is such a great medium to share something that brings me so much joy, and make art more accessible to a broader audience. I hope it brings them joy in turn.
Founder Fast Facts:
Q: Most inspirational place you’ve traveled?
A: My very first trip to Paris when I was a child, seeing impressionists paintings in person at Musee D’Orsay made me cry of happiness!
Q: Go-to way to generate joy?
A: Going out to buy some fresh flowers, create a new table setting and cook something to feel a cozy aroma of freshly baked food.
Meryl
Storytelling has always been a passion of mine, from tall-tales in my childhood (lol) to poems and short stories in my adolescence, I have always loved the experience of telling a compelling story, and drawing people into a little world. Throughout my career in brand marketing, the most fulfilling projects have been those allowing me to build a brand world from a single idea. Vivee Home stands as a testament to that passion. Crafting this cozy, uplifting brand world has been an absolute joy, and I am so happy you’re here to share in it.

Q: Favorite place to volunteer?
A: Since high school I have always worked with the American Cancer Society in a number of ways, most recently I have loved volunteering at their Discovery Shop in Oceanside, CA
Q: Go-to way to generate joy?
A: If I need a pick me up, I blast early 2000’s girl-pop & dance around my house, Kirsten Dunst style.
Inspired by our shared passion for community, creating a sense of home in new places, and creating art in its many forms, Katya & Meryl wanted to introduce an uplifting brand that celebrates the joy of being alive through art driven decor that help people feel at home.

We are beyond excited to create this brand and to share the work we are doing with our community. We hope that our home decor pieces will make people around the world more joyful, present and connected. We are so grateful to be able to give back to the community around us and pledge to contribute 5% of profits to meaningful charities that reflect the core of each of our collections.
